A total of 10 beds; comprising stroke unit, 6 beds and intermediate care, 4 beds
Catchman area 1,3 million people (province of Upper Austria)
Staff: 3 physicians, 15 nurses, physio-, ergo-; logotherapist 1,5 positions each; 1 social worker
Equipment: full scale non invasive monitoring for each bed CCT, MRI/MRA (PWI/DWI), angiography available 24h x 7
Duplex sonography, TCD, TCDS, emboli detection
Neurosurgical service in hospital,Neuropsychological service in hospital
Stroke related medical service: thrombolytic therapy IV, IA, bridgeing
Interventional neuroradioliogy (extra/intracranial Pta/stent application)
Carotid surgery (preop. evaluation)
