study recruits 1,000th patient
On Tuesday, April 15th 2008 sifap reached another milestone: the 1,000th sifap patient. A long process of accepting and recruiting new network centres is coming to an end and first results become obvious. sifap has grown to a complex and sophisticated project, connecting several partners on an interactive basis. High logistical and organizational understanding was implemented into a workflow that will serve as basis for future projects of this kind. The 1,000th patient underlines the success of this integrative process and is yet another step towards the common goal: better diagnostics, better treatment, and better quality of life for the individual of interest: the patient.
